CMJ - STAGE 2 Delivery

What is CJV?

The Complete Joint Venture is an unincorporated, fully integrated, joint venture between Fletcher Construction Ltd of New Zealand and Leighton Contractors Pty Ltd of Australia, formed with the express intention of delivering the Central Motorway Junction Core Area Upgrading for Transit New Zealand.

The Complete Joint Venture has engaged Beca Carter Hollings and Ferner under a Service Contract to provide design services as Head Designer. Beca has engaged Parsons Brinkerhoff as a sub-consultant to provide specialist design services.

The Complete Joint Venture has engaged URS New Zealand Ltd under a Services Contract to provide verification of the design. Sub-contractors will be engaged under Subcontract Agreements to perform demolition, earthworks, pavements, landscaping, and traffic control implementation.

	As owner of the project, Transit sets the objectives and is responsible for funding of the project.
	The engineering and design consultants responsible for developing the CMJ project throughout. SKM is Transit's adviser and Engineer to the Contract for CMJ Stage 2.
	CJV consists of:
	Fletcher Construction bring with them project management and construction skills, as well as expertise in retaining walls, bridge construction, earthworks and drainage.
	Leightons have project management skills on very large projects, which complement and dovetail with Fletcher Construction's skills.
	Beca are specialists in design and have expertise in geometric design, traffic, retaining walls, roading and environmental planning.
