Project Manager – Kim Barrett
Kim provided overall leadership and management to ensure the project
reached its requirements, objectives and targets. He was involved
in all aspects of the project including cost, quality, traffic management,
consent compliance and the overall well-being of the alliance team.

Transit Liaison Manager – Craig
Turner
As an important link between Transit and the Freeflow team, Craig
was responsible for obtaining Transit approvals. In addition, he established
and maintained effective communication channels with all Transit departments,
Tranz Rail, utility service companies and key stakeholders (such as
Auckland City and ARC). |

Design Manager – Alan Powell
Alan managed the design team and had overall responsibility for project
design including insuring that design met project objectives and could
be delivered on time and on budget. He also maintained the link between
design and construction teams. |

Construction Manager – Peter Adye
The construction manager works closely with project engineers from
all areas of the project; from piling to earthworks and from pavements
to retaining walls. He helps keep things on track and makes sure that
construction works take place in accordance with the programme, budget,
and other parameters that are set out for the project |

Stakeholder Manager – Leif Klaassen
With a real focus on stakeholders and the wider community, Leif’s
team kept people well informed about the progress of the project and
any changes, milestones or issues affecting them.

Environmental Manager – Carron
Blom
Carron played a critical role in implementing and complying with consent
conditions of the project. She also resolved environmental issues
and focused on a win/win outcome for both the project and the environment.
This included communication with the Auckland Regional Council and
local iwi. |

Traffic Operations Manager – David
Philip
With traffic management as one of the major challenges for the project,
David was focused on providing safe and efficient temporary traffic
and pedestrian access during the project construction. David prepared
traffic management plans for the different construction activities,
keeping some 45,000 vehicles a day flowing through the gully with
minimum disruption. |

Quality Manager – John Anderson
John maintained the project's quality systems, ensuring all activities
were in accordance with agreed specifications. An important aspect
of his role was the auditing process which ensured the project was
delivered to a high quality. He also assisted with health and safety
systems. |

Health and Safety Manager – Jonathan
Pauro
In his role, Jonathan maintained a focus on health and safety for
all team members. He ensured that everybody was informed about these
matters and followed the Health & Safety Management Plans. His
responsibility also included the updating of hazard identification
and control. |

Administration Manager – Jerry
Foster
Jerry provided administrative support for the Freeflow team and looked
after financial activities including invoicing and claims processing.
He prepared cost information for Transit. |
