Many Freeflow team members who worked on the Grafton Gully project are now working on Stage 1 of the Central Motorway Junction project.

Some of the Freeflow team members who worked on the Grafton Gully project are profiled below.

  Project Manager – Kim Barrett
Kim provided overall leadership and management to ensure the project reached its requirements, objectives and targets. He was involved in all aspects of the project including cost, quality, traffic management, consent compliance and the overall well-being of the alliance team.
Transit Liaison Manager – Craig Turner
As an important link between Transit and the Freeflow team, Craig was responsible for obtaining Transit approvals. In addition, he established and maintained effective communication channels with all Transit departments, Tranz Rail, utility service companies and key stakeholders (such as Auckland City and ARC).
  Design Manager – Alan Powell
Alan managed the design team and had overall responsibility for project design including insuring that design met project objectives and could be delivered on time and on budget. He also maintained the link between design and construction teams.
  Construction Manager – Peter Adye
The construction manager works closely with project engineers from all areas of the project; from piling to earthworks and from pavements to retaining walls. He helps keep things on track and makes sure that construction works take place in accordance with the programme, budget, and other parameters that are set out for the project

  Stakeholder Manager – Leif Klaassen
With a real focus on stakeholders and the wider community, Leif’s team kept people well informed about the progress of the project and any changes, milestones or issues affecting them.
  Environmental Manager – Carron Blom
Carron played a critical role in implementing and complying with consent conditions of the project. She also resolved environmental issues and focused on a win/win outcome for both the project and the environment. This included communication with the Auckland Regional Council and local iwi.
Traffic Operations Manager – David Philip
With traffic management as one of the major challenges for the project, David was focused on providing safe and efficient temporary traffic and pedestrian access during the project construction. David prepared traffic management plans for the different construction activities, keeping some 45,000 vehicles a day flowing through the gully with minimum disruption.
  Quality Manager – John Anderson
John maintained the project's quality systems, ensuring all activities were in accordance with agreed specifications. An important aspect of his role was the auditing process which ensured the project was delivered to a high quality. He also assisted with health and safety systems.
Health and Safety Manager – Jonathan Pauro
In his role, Jonathan maintained a focus on health and safety for all team members. He ensured that everybody was informed about these matters and followed the Health & Safety Management Plans. His responsibility also included the updating of hazard identification and control.
  Administration Manager – Jerry Foster
